Our Green Banded Dinnerwareis a traditional pattern that evokes the serenity of days gone by. Some call it "retro" styling since it was first popularized by Diners in the 1940's and 1950's. Others refer to it as "contemporary retro" since it is still a popular choice which is easy to match.
The body is fired very high for complete vitrification. The result is a very durable, non-porous body that can take the heavy use required of commercial chinaware. A vitrified body has high heat retention properties and is freezer to oven safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.
The hunter green bands that adorn the ivory body are under the glaze and will never wear. Most items have a triple band, completing the retro styling. This line is a very good value compared to other decorated restaurant dinnerware.
